Rowley Gallery extremely large framed mirror with inlay wood panel to the top depicting a scene from the Watteau Series. From the collection of Martin Battersby The Watteau series of 12 panels were designed by William Chase in the 18th century manner and and a set of 9 panels were originally exhibited together at the 1924 Exhibition in the ‘French Room' at Queens Gate South Kensington
